What do I mean by this. Well, you all know about stealth trolling, where a person says stupid things in order to elicit reaction from other users, all this without being noticed. This is supposedly a cool thing to do because it isn't easy. Here is an example. It has been years that I have been visiting this site, and time and time again I've explained why the Wii is not a gimmick. Yet the same people insist to say that it is. I've used dictionaries, wikipedia, images, logic, all the means possible to distinguish the Wii with other gimmicks, but the stealth trolls refuse it, because being stealthy is cooler than being intelligent. Not that I want to be the first person to reply with sincerity to this post, but just to clarify, my threads (which you've basically, steathily called me a troll using my title) are not trolling. They are a sarcastic observation as to why we are suddenly questioning all of our metrics simply because the new xbox has done away with them. Suddenly, used games are the end of the industry, suddenly, people who buy used games are parasites. Suddenly, everyone should have internet, and suddenly, all games should have multiplayer. Suddenly, people who don't want a camera are people doing illicit activities, and suddenly, drm is the future. Suddenly, games are cheaper with drm (despite not being true this entire generation), and suddenly ebay and amazon don't help anyone.
This was my beef in my past two threads. Soon enough, suddenly, we won't even need to be catered to anymore, because games are niche and an increasingly smaller demographic.
