My Problem with the cloud is, that the more it outsourced to cloud computing, the less I will be able to play a game. Because I really doubt that my connection is stable enough/fast enough to highly increase the games potential to warrant the hasle around it.

I have a 8192kbit DL/820kbit UL limitation on my internet and except for cutscenes or on-rails-events I really doubt that cloud computing can effectively increase the gaming expirience. Because as the player I can basically act not according to plan and suddently do something "not expected", which to me means, either they have to have a shitload of possibilities precalculated thus wasting their own calculative power imensely per player, or they have to try to keep the cloud as much up to date as possible with the current situation I am currently in, which then eats away on my bandwidth.

I don't want to compare these situations directly to MMOs, where most of the Data transfared are location/action/effect of action, but not real outsourced events (most of the events get calculated on your own computer, using the server data as additional input). I actually have more faith in directly streaming the data onto my screen than the comunication between device/server to improve my gaming expirience.

That said, I can't even watch 1080p streams reliably with my internet connection. Also, I am not willing to pay more than 20€ a month for internet.
