Even if it would be true, this is nothing unusual. Just because people were especially interested in making MS look bad doesn't mean this doesn't apply to Sony also (as it did before).

"Feeling good about visuals at E3 from kits." Phil Spencer
Makes MS looks bad when they weren't even using AMD cards on their PC's, Johnatan Blow confirmed most PS3 demos were running on PS4 dev kits.
|
MS said they also have dev-kits with nvidia-cards (and others) so there is no difference. As all are using directx I don't see an issue. And given that Forza 5 was running on the real hardware, nobody should worry.

"Real hardware", Dev kits with... Nvidia cards, rumours of yield problems, MS not releasing all the official specs yet, RROD memories still fresh, well you can see why some are worried.

Dev kits with... Nvidia cards
- Yes. And real hardware: Did you miss this article? http://www.eurogamer.net/articles/digitalfoundry-hands-on-with-xbox-one
rumours of yield problems
- Yes, rumors. By now nothing to do with real hardware.
MS not releasing all the official specs yet,
- Yes, nothing to do with real hardware. We even got a shot of the actual motherboard. Nintendo hasn't released specs until now, no problem. Games will show us.
RROD memories still fresh
- Where? Only read by some usual suspects.

Chill out dude, like I said I don't think there would be problems with the final product I'm only curious about what the final specs will be. X1 and PS4 will look the same. You can relax now.
