You mean you cant do that now, my wife watches the tele, while i play on a console all the time. 

I said DVD or BluRay, not T.V. I was specific on purpose. This will be my first BluRay player and by extension, hers to use also. Many people, most people really haven't adopted BluRay as their preferred format. I am one of them.

Ah very good, blu rays great for HDTV's. I guess PS4 will be my 3rd bluray player, although now Lovefilm finally supports HD streaming, i have been using blu rays less. I guess over the next few years everyone will have blu ray, just because its in devices they bought primarily for other reasons, like how DVD is.
