It's been said again and again that you can control Kinect so it isn't always listening or always watching. 

@ the bolded: As opposed to what? Every other internet connected device ever made? Not to mention if they have the Xbox connected to an armed forces internet network (which they would if they are on a base), then I'd say good luck to any hacker that tries that.
