Microsoft gives details on free-to-play plans with Killer Instinct

Eh... I get that people are only going to main one or two characters, but how do we find out about which characters fit us? By fiddling around with them. How well this works depends on the price of each character and different modes. If each character is 1-2 dollars ok, but if it's more than that it'll be pretty much a rip off.
