Microsoft quashes Xbox One power "downgrading" rumours - "10 times as powerful" as Xbox 360

I know nothing about computers and hardware so can someone tell me simply, how much more powerful is the PS4 compared to the Xbox 1.

And also how much more powerful the PS4 is over the PS3.
