Has physical medium gone away for Music and Movies? Successful digital dstribution channels have been setup for both. Physical medium is defeinitely losing traction... but guess what? Physical is still the dominant album format in America, they are not gonna go away any time soon, neither is physical movies or games. For the next decade (which is pretty much the complete lifespan of the XB1) physical medium will still play a big part of console sale.
