Come on dude. Dont know about US but Canada has internet widely available to the majority of the population. Internet caps are going up and there are many providers with unlimited internet...

Im not saying that there wont be people who dont have internet that would like to play next gen games, but why are we as an internet community up and arms about that? The odds are that 95% of people here bashing Xbox one always on have perfectly capable internet to complete check in once every 24 hours and enjoy digital gaming for many years to come.

And like for every test this is not your actual speed but the speed your modem can connect to your Internet provider

This is my score and I never was able to get a faster than 2.2Mbps

Downloading 50Gb games wuold take for ever and two games would blow my download cap

I believe both next gen consoles have the ability to play after an initial gig or two gigs get downloaded and installed. I know Xbox One does...

Also, since the games are downloaded and installed they can be compressed quite a bit. I cant see you downloading 50 gb worth of data for a game for quite some time. Next gen all these game downloads and updates are expected to be performed in the background without much user knowledge or wait time.

Thats a very good internet connection that you have btw. Especially your upload...I cant see you having any difficulties with internet speed and always on. I am pretty certain you were getting 2.2 MB/s with that connection...not Mbps. I have a 16Mbps theoretical connection according to my internet provider and ive my seen my torrents do 1.8-2MB/s...
