Stop nitpicking, you know we're talking globally. I'm sure the console sales in Istanbul aren't going to help Sony much in making up that deficit between the PS3 and Wii.

If you want to talk globally then the PS3 is still outselling all other consoles by a fair margin.

Currently, yes, but at the current rate, it won't catch up to Wii lifetime sales for a LONG while yet. Thus the original point, is that the lifetime sales will not surpass the Wii.

 

At the current rate of ~13M per fiscal year? I don't think it will take a LONG while.

Also, just because it takes a while does not mean that it will not pass the Wiis.
