oh yea I remember the sony's ad with the dragon falling on ps3 but didn't know that was for this game
was that ad released before the game bombed ??If so that was a really bad and immature move on sony's part to brag about the game that hasn't even been reviewed.
So yea I can understand the bashing if it was hyped that much .I didn't buy the console at that time and did not know anything about lair(Cause honestly if it was rated 10 ,I wouldn't have bought it since I m not into dragon and stuff).
The games that grabbed my attention and made me buy the console were Heavenly sword and Uncharted(And Ive played both and I am really happy with my decision)
