Yup, I mean cut it completely. No xb1 retail games. But that doesn't mean gaming will suddenly become the only medium with no hard copies. The PS4, Wii U and other platforms will still have the option. It just means one platform holder is out. A lot of magazines have gone online only, that doesn't mean magazines are dead, it just means a couple chose to leave retail stands.
Consumers will always have options, I just don't see why people want xb1 and ps4 to be identical. I actually hate the fact that ps3 and 360 were so similar. Consoles need to differentiate themselves more.

...I actually like the way you think. however the fact is that most consoles throughout gens have been very similar. Genesis was not that different from SNES, PS1 was not that different from Saturn. Personally i dont mind consoles being similar, because i save money by not missing anything and not having to buy all three. Except for maybe exclusives. Which i could live without.
