I live in America and I and a few others DO care about care about handhelds, i own Vita and 3DS so please dont generalize like you speak for all of us, you really dont. The OP says that MS could take out NINTY and SOny, he didnt say PS4 and WII U, he said the companies themselves, so all their gaming products are included. People dont care about handhelds? Is that why 3ds has been number 1 for months? Get real.
