The problem is "value" is subjective. When it came time to choose between a PS3 and X360, the choice was easy. Sure PS3 had a blueray, but I had no desire to have one. The games I wanted were on both systems, so essentially they would offer me the same value. So I picked the cheaper option. This is the problem with X1. 90% of the software is multiplat. So most things are equal, and one is $100 cheaper. Easy choice.
