Nothing about what Mattrick is saying sounds "normal" to me. Telling people who want a next gen console to do offline to "buy an Xbox 360" is not not something I'd consider "normal PR talk." And, judging by the vast majority of responses here and elsewhere, I'm not alone in my thinking.

Also, none of those comments from Tretton is as bad as what Mattrick has said, lately. Appluad you for the effort, though.

It doesn't sound as bad as it is today because Tretton wasn't defending an anti consumer product that has a a lot of negativity around it. If the PS3 had the same policies Xbox One has, Tretton would be making much more idiotic comments.

BUT, some of the quotes have truth to them. It isn't comprabale, really at all, to what Mattrick said. If he had said "buy a PS2" to folks complaining about the PS3's price, it would make more sense to compare.

I get you're trying to be fair, but you'd be reaching, at best, comparing those quotes to Mattrick's.

Someone high up told people to get second jobs to pay for a Ps3 though. Isnt that worse?
