Naughty Dog has really proven throughout the years that incredible AAA titles are not anomalies, they're the norm. I'd be hard pressed to find many studios out there right now that could deliver these kinds of sales on a new IP. It kind of reminds me of the success (then) Squaresoft had with Final Fantasy, making me and others more likely to try other games out of the studio.
This is truly incredible and well deserved.
