The controller is very interesting. It doesn't immediately look beautiful, but it could turn the iphone into more of a viable platform for me. Having touch controls in games is great, but being bound to only touch controls is quickly horrible. Some light games - like Kingdom Rush - are fun, and couldn't be implemented better on another platform.
Then you have the pleforia of shooters and platformers, which feel like playing a rubbish version of a good to great game. It's a shame, because I love platformers, and iOs has one of the largest 2D platformer libraries - barring Nintendo - and they really seem quite good. With an official controller, it definitely has the potential to be a great platform for platformers.
I don't have much faith in shooters ever being particularly fun for me on iOS, but I can't really stand playing shooters without a mouse, so I'm a bit difficult there.
Oooh, and I downloaded the Ace Attorney app. Should be interesting!
