I know why you started this thread. You wanted the chance to use the full range of all your awesome emoticons. They are really cool.
Also you should be really proud, and pleased, that you added the inspired option of "themselves?" I don't think I've seen a poll on this site with so many people actually voting. You should congratulate yourself on this achievement. Is there an emoticon for congratulations? Without that option you would have been lucky to get 50 people responding to the poll.
To actually answer the poll though, MS, after seeing how badly Nintendo shot themselves in the foot, definitely set their sights on Sony. They see Sony as the general entertainment threat. MS would much rather have a 2-horse Nintendo/MS race than a 2-horse Sony/MS race.
