Microsoft - Fixing XB1 - View Post

I honestly believe MS haven't done anything wrong....yet. Sure, we're vocal, we don't like what they're doing, but they needn't change anything until the system launches and it does poorly in sales. At that point the consumer has voted and it's time to fix stuff. And I believe they're aware of that and will stick to their guns until the noose tightens.

As Jack Trenton said, a company can't function by merely reacting to its competitors. They have a plan, I'm sure it was discussed ad nausea somewhere and it won't be changed until things are actually bad. Pre-orders don't mean crap right now since the system is still months away and it has yet to performs in the real world.

Plus, MS giving in to the internet demands I think would hurt their credibility with investors...and some consumers alike. When a company doesn't trust its own product, it's hard for anyone to invest in it when even the creator thinks it will fail.

Of course, I may be wrong, I don't have much idea about how these things actually work, but I believe it's a fair assumption.
