Sony doesn't have access to MS varied and wide availability of resources...ie Smartglass, Windows, Surface, LIVE...etc.  Plus Sony does not have the monetary ability to compete with Nintendo let alone MS (which would pummel Sony in terms of it's available resources!!!)


Sony has their own Smartglass , it'll be available on iOS and Android devices ...

I have no idea what's up with Sony's monetary ability ... but as such I can see them being in 2nd place this gen  ... after MS invested a load into Xbox 360 ? 

Let me enlighten you it is not good in anyway.  Yeah I could see Sony falling back behind MS also as 2nd but it would mean the end for them as the company is going the way of bestbuy, jcpenney's, digital camera's etc with their financial health.


I was talking about PS3 vs 360 ....the gen which Sony is currently ahead of ms 

Talking about the next one ... i think the first 3 years  , Sony will be in the lead if MS doesnt change their policies 


sorry to burst your bubble but the 7th gen (is it?) ended when the Wii U was released thus MS was in 2nd or 1st depending if you count the Wii.
