A little trivia, did you know that the North American market accounted for more than 50% of the GameCube's lifetime hardware sales? Not many consoles have that distinction, among them both XBoxs, every Atari console, the NES, and the Sega Genesis.

The GC's biggest failure was Japan. looking at VGC numbers it almost did aswell as N64 in US/EU but dropped alot in Japan
