I don't think graphics are the major advantage that PC have over games consoles myself, it's the free mods and user generated content which gives PC games the edge. Console may catch up over time in terms of graphics and maybe the indie scene, but I can't see any of the big three console manufactures ever allowing such a large amount free user created content to cut into their profit.
I still prefer console gaming however, as I prefer the ability to actually have games in physical instead of digital format. Add to that the glitchy nature I find with PC games, because of have to run on so many different PC configurations compared to console gaming, which are always tailor made to each specific console.
