Corporations aren't evil. They're simply reflections of our society and what we value.
Corporations are shaped by consumber habits, the average consumer is just willing to overlook a shitload of unethical and often times evil acts, just so long as the company provides them the exact product they want.
Wal*Mart does what it does because people value low low prices far more then they do fair treatment of their workers, no child labor, etc..
For most people, it's just too much work to shop ethically.
