I lived in the 80s as well and I don't remember anyone ever buying or trading used games. I remember it being a pain in the ass just to rent games. I don't thin Blockbuster even existed yet. I always kept my games back then I was just a kid but everyone kept their games. Now it's about beating the game as fast as possible and trading it in to get as much money back as possible. Kinda sad really
