@mantlepieceK: I was about to say you'd be wrong about the OS being a resource hog, but I'm not exactly sure how much RAM my OS is currently using (Win7 64bit version). However, it is confirmed that x1 will be using 3 OS's cumulating about a 3GB RAM usage compared to the PS4 with ?# of OS's utilizing 1GB of RAM.
Again I must say that running a GAME ENGINE on a PC requires more of the hardware than running on the console! For example to effectively utilize the Unreal Engine from about 6 months ago there were more requirements than required to run Battlefield 3 @ high quality. There are a lot more things going on in the engine during the development of the game than actually running the game on a console. Therefore the console require less hardware to run the game perfectly well, than the development build running on PC requires. So do not take the OP as any indicator of graphics on the X1 or lack of performance, or sleight of hand by MS. Honestly, I would not be upset to see another nail in their coffin, but this is not it and is not legitimate cause for concern at all.
