It wont be 2015, i believe they said 2014, but why does that matter?  The wii u and ps3 were both annouced two years before they came out.

Japan is a major gaming country, not just some smaller 3rd world or developing nation.

For MS to not even bother with a Japanese launch til 2 years after their 'Global Launch' must be incredibly insulting to the already limited number of Xbox fans in Japan.

How will they respond to their fans and the media when asked why Japan, despite being a major gaming nation and home to a number of game companies, apparently wasn't good enough to get the Xbox One along with everyone else?

It's going to be a PR nightmare over there, maybe even more so than what they are experiencing right now.
