Am I relieved that Sony are doing the thing that aligns with my principles? Yes I am. But would I regret switching to MS if it was the other way around? Not one bit. I am saying to you specifically, that you should be buying a Xbone. You should reject Sony's (and Nintendo's) continued disdain for the economic health of the software business, now that you actually have a choice in consoles between open used game sales, and controlled used game sales which (according to you) better supports developers and publishers. You did have a choice before: PC, but now you have a console choice as well. Controller differences be damned, exclusive differences be damned. Do what's best for the health of the video game software industry, and in your world view that's supporting platforms which actively work against the used game market. |
Again, WHAT? I dont need to support the xbox one to support developers, its not like sony and nintendo block new games. Whats best for the game industry? (they way i see it) just buy the game new, doesnt matter if its for 20 bucks or less just contribute to the devs for the good/bad/mediocre work they did. You think a game might not be good and dont wanna risk your hard earned money on it? wait a few months to go down in price, wait for digital discounts.
