It will be interesting to see how the genres break down. If we get a repeat of current gen, with Xbox taking NA and the UK and Playstation taking the rest of the world, then there is a good change the distribution will be the same. This gen, the 360 dominated the FPS and TPS genres while the PS3 did better with sports, racing games, fighting games, and, obviously, Japanese RPGs. Most other stuff, if I remember correctly, was pretty close.
I can't see Xbox losing that huge advantage with shooters, which is a massive market. Everything else I think will slide down the scale a bit toward Sony.
