Im not sure why people are still having trouble wrapping their heads around the once every 24 hours check. This allows you to have digitally licensed games that you can access anywhere(with internet and a xbone) and share with the 10 "family" on your friends list until you sell your license back to the authorized resellers. Without the 24 hour check there would be no used games and people would complain in the same large numbers(it would essentially be a DD console otherwise). MS said they want a balance between gamers, publishers, retailers and resellers and they are doing it no matter haw badly (I feel) it is in the favor of publishers.
Getting an XBOX One for me is like being in a bad relationship but staying together because we have kids. XBone we have 20000+ achievement points, 2+ years of XBL Gold and 20000+ MS points. I think its best we stay together if only for the MS points.
Nintendo Treehouse is what happens when a publisher is confident and proud of its games and doesn't need to show CGI lies for five minutes.
