I think this is really huge if confirmed it is true. Let me make one example to compare: Ballmer and Kaz are good friends.

1. Both of them only have PS4, so:

1.1. If Ballmer borrow a disk-based game from Kaz, then Ballmer can play the game, but Kaz cannot because he doesn't have the disk;

1.2. If both of them want to play a same game for multi-player at the same time, both of them need to buy the game from retailers or from PSN;

2. Both of them only have XBOX ONE, so,

2.1. If Kaz is one of Ballmer's family member, then he will have the access Ballmer's games and play them. It is equal to Ballmer lends the games to Kaz;

2.2. If both of them wants to play multi-player at the same time, both of them can play even Kaz doesn't need to purchase the game.

So who has the advantages?
