The Xbox One announcement was a PR/Marketing disaster.
I don't know if Don Mattrick is the problem, or someone else. Because the responsibility of all of this is the program manager, marketing, and the public relations department.
The fact that everyone didn't have the same talking points, marketing. Though the fact that these plans weren't concrete and thought through long before all these announcements took place, that's got to be on Don or possibly even higher up. IF these plans were waiting for executive decisions OR these are the results of executive decisions. However, if these were sitting around at various desks waiting for people to provide input or work out the details, that's the program manager.
I'm still pissed that they don't have a rental plan ready. Why send detailed e-mails about how to go about doing something long before any public announcement if they aren't going to use it to create a plan of action?
