Why would he compare moving images? 1080p moving images are not perceptable by the human eyes when they are being displayed on HDTVs anyways. Especially not with all the motion blur effects etc going on.
Images are always used to "demonstrate" how awesome something looks like and if not images then SLOWMO footage.
