This guy explains the strategies of both parties perfectly. MS's plan to design a console that puts less than a handful on whiny publishers at the core is just dumb. In order for this plan to work they would have to have significantly better content(early ps3 vs 360) and they dont have footing they did with 360 to accomplish that. It also does not help that companies named aggressive supporters of MS policies are all ready backing slowly outta the room. They shot themselves in the foot when they put whiny developers who are making billions already over a consumer a friendly console.
