Honestly if you're going to respond don't be so god dam ignorant. There two things i do not like about playstation, one its controller and two it's ignorant, arrogant, hypocritical community. It's just my opinion on the ps4. last generation Sony was adapting new and different technology into gaming such a blu-ray and the cell, this gen nothing. At Ms is trying to do something new with the cloud, their policies may suck but at least their doing something new this gen unlike sony which who just upgraded hardware. yawn. |
I think the sharing features are pretty cool, as well as Remote Play using GaiKai and Vita (assuming they get it right this time).
Innovation also doesn't always have to come in the same form. Take their governing principles around UI and system design this time:
Simple, Immediate, Social, Integrated, and Personalized
I think this is pretty innovative thinking about how to approach designing a next gen console that fits into how society interacts with technology today. The power and graphics increase addresses the needs of the hardcore gamer. Simplicity and immediacy address the new casual audience that is now playing video games--games are mainstream now. The social, integrated, and personalized approach is current and relevant to the rise of social media and our interactions with other people on the internet today.
