I don't feel balanced at all, more like they're trying to kick both feet from under me.
But you get the promise of some vague sharing scheme in return for being a good always online consumer.
Thou shalt not own what thy purchases, we will allow you to use our service ecosystem as we see fit.
Good thing there are still alternatives.
