If I bought the game at $60, I believe it's worth the money.
If I bought the game at $30, I believe it's either worth only that much or just getting it at special sale.
If I thought the game is worth $30 and it's only sold everywhere at $60, I won't buy it.
If anything, cutting out second hand sales entirely will only sell less, not more.
So, instead of focusing on making the games good so people will keep them, customers are instead punished with DRM.
Biting the hands that feed you is not a good choice.
