one of the biggest strengths of Nintendo are the games, they cost almost exactly the same for years to come. And they sell still fantastic. nobody else can do that. If they put games on Smart Phones the value of their games would drop immensley.

I'm not saying they should put Mario or Zelda on the iPhone. I'm saying they should use the iPhone and Android market to experiment with new IP. These games wouldn't require years of development time or big budgets. They can be handled by a very very small team looking to create the next big thing for Nintendo. If successful then Nintendo can fully devote their resources to it and makes games based on it for 3DS or Wii U.
