I can understand why some people would like Nintendo to go 3rd party so they can enjoy Nintendo games without betraying their lord.
But, it's incredible naive to think that Nintendo going 3rd party will result in PS/Xbox/Mobile fans getting access to every Nintendo game. Just think about, Nintendo going 3rd party equals Nintendo games being up for sale. Platform makers will pay a lot to make big sellers like Mario Kart and Smash Bros. exclusive to their platform. I mean, you'll get a scenario where Pokémon and Animal Crossing ends up on mobile platforms only, next Zelda remake becomes a PS4 exclusive but the Zelda after that ends up on XBone together with Mario Kart. 3D Mario and Metroid goes multiplatform but with exclusive content for each console. And so on.
It would be a pain in the behind to get access to at least most Nintendo titles, and big Nintendo fans would be completely fudged.
