"But to watch the demo, both the trailer at the media briefing and the live re-run we’re treated to later, it gives every impression of being an ultra-shallow, almost on-the-rails, actioner with all the combat replaced by mindless quick time event (QTE) sequences.
But that’s not actually the case at all. Actually getting to play the game later we found to our surprise that you have full control of Titus, and that although the onscreen prompts make it look like a QTE-fest that’s not what’s really going on. The button prompts are actually just the end points of a combo and it doesn’t even matter if you don’t hit them – you’ll just get fewer rewards if you don’t."
