God, I hope they don't delay the game to give one of the girls a bigger role because of all the complaining about how the game is a "sausage fest". Nobody complained about FFX-2, which is the only FF game to my knowledge in which there were only female playable characters (or even, the only FF where you only had playable characters of one sex), but all of a sudden, when a game that you know so little of shows mostly male characters, people complain like it's so unacceptable.
First of all, so little is known about the game that female characters may very well become playable characters. Not only that, but in the 12 portraits, there are at least two women. Games don't need to have exactly 50% male and 50% female characters.
