And I'm afraid we may not receive a single, big quality game made exclusively for the PS Eye/ + Move combo. If Media Molecule won't make a game for it, then I actually don't see any other studio making that kind of software, save for maybe few smaller gems, that certainly won't push the hardware part of the peripheral. I personally really enjoyed Socom 4: US Navy Seals and Killzone 3 with the Move and Sharpshooter, and Heavy Rain was by far superior with Move support. Still that's very little. I look forward to Until Dawn, but we haven't heard about the game for some time now. I didn't even think that PS Eye would be a addition to the core gamer experience, I'm not sure if it's even possible. The fact the Ryse - the supposed MS core Kinect hit, has no longer Kinect required, and the new Kinect, so a really advanced tech, shows that it's just not worth the hassle. I thought it would be a good way of claiming the casual/kid market a bit a getting every Kinect/KinectONE game that is released, and we know that they can move a lot of copies. When they're dividing the userbase, I'm not sure that 3rd parties will care about the PS Eye. |
Sony just need to invest in smarter teams to work with it. The key point was that the move had exclusives but they were all pretty bad. You don't require a huge budget, just some creative talent and so I think maybe it will best for sony to scoute for indie talent as opposed to getting random, subpar devs (nihilistic games) to tackle the exclusives.
