Being pro-consumer comes in with pros and cons where the former outweighs the latter and in the case of Sony, it's been pretty consistent. EDIT: The thread has been put up to discussions of chooing between PS4 and Xbox one and so it would be better to focus on that rather than the prices of handheld console accessories. |
You are right I continued the conversation far too off topic. Sure I can admit Sony does offer some consumer friendly services for the value even though they messed up in some of their strategies. Anyways, I see this conversation more of a what home console should I get thread than just Sony vs Microsoft. Remember there is still the Wii U but I highly doubt the op is one that is interested in Nintendo. This also could be a conversation about getting a gaming PC considering the op is concerned about paying for online. Last time I check online was free for most PC games except a few select (mainly WoW and a few others). So you could have "next gen" graphics already with a PC and have free online. I see this op more of a concern about where online fees are going for the future of video games.
However, if someone asked me what should I get a PS4 or Xbox One? With only those two choices I would tell the person to get a PS4.
