They also refuse to acknowledge online play where as Mario Kart on the Wii's online worked so well - if you're gonna have a 4 player mario game, put it online for gods sake.

They're so stuck in their ways it's not even funny anymore - I said give me galaxy or brand new Zelda game and you can have my money for a Wii u and here i am still waiting.

Do you really believe the internet infrastructure can properly handle the precision and fast reaction speed of a Mario title?

not where i live like (north London) - I even have to have Netflix set to medium quality as high (5mbps) with 2 people watching different stuff at same time will kill i.

Even on a good connection, the movements would come in too slow because of the nature of internet itself.

Something a slight adjusting a jump - one small, yet very key Mario feature - would have to slowed down or removed because you character would already have landed when those commands got over the network.

Nintendo would be forced to neuter Mario gameplay style to make it work. If Mario is one thing, he's gameplay. In some it wouldn't be Mario.

Besiders Local co-op is still the best system seller. People who are online already own a WiiU.

Pretty much every game they release has local co-op and it's not selling many systems.
