They also refuse to acknowledge online play where as Mario Kart on the Wii's online worked so well - if you're gonna have a 4 player mario game, put it online for gods sake.

They're so stuck in their ways it's not even funny anymore - I said give me galaxy or brand new Zelda game and you can have my money for a Wii u and here i am still waiting.

Online was detailed on the Mario Kart 8 developer direct.

here are the details:

up 12 players online, you can make your own tournaments, set rules, share your replay videos on mario kart, tv miiverse functionalities and it runs 60fps. It's almost the same as mario kart 7 but with a few extra features.

I think people need to watch the developer diaries. The games are actually better and more polish than most people think. I'm sold on donkey kong and Super Mario 3d world.

Yes, but that's partly the fault of Nintendo. They should have included them into the ND. Make it 20 minutes longer and take time to explain each game. If you didn't stumble upon them on Youtube chances are pretty low you've seen any of them. Big mistake on Nintendo's part.

I think Nintendo did mention in the direct there was dev diaries and trailers in youtube and reggie mentioned before e3 that there will be a lot of content in the channel. Regardless these dev diaries are quite good and go in sufficient detail. People go check themo at.
