Keep in mind that piracy isn't stealing, no matter what the **AA would have you believe. It's copyright infringement, which is an entirely different crime.
That said, I've done my share of music-sharing on BitTorrent in the past, but that's it. Mainstream music artists already receive a pittance for every CD sold, so most of the loss in profits extends only to record executives and the RIAA. And, really, having an exec or six-figure lawyer not be able to purchase his sixth Mercedes isn't going to keep me awake at night. And for bands on indie labels, well, I'll usually buy their CDs anyway.
Games and other media are a different story, since they don't have the BS licensing contracts that the music industry does.
"'Casual games' are something the 'Game Industry' invented to explain away the Wii success instead of actually listening or looking at what Nintendo did. There is no 'casual strategy' from Nintendo. 'Accessible strategy', yes, but ‘casual gamers’ is just the 'Game Industry''s polite way of saying what they feel: 'retarded gamers'."
