| JEMC said: I agree and yet disagree with you. Every console competes with the consoles of the other manufacturers. Always. They compete for us to buy and play our games on it more than on another console. WiiU is competing with the other consoles. But. The thing is that, due to Nintendo realizing that they couldn't compete with Sony and MSoft in the specs war and therefore focusing on other ways to interact with the games rather than power as well as the fact that 3rd parties are using that as an excuse/opportunity to avoid launching their games on its console, will make that the WiiU will end with a catalog of games unlike that of the PS4/X1. That will make the idea of owning 2 consoles, a WiiU and a PS4/X1 or a PS4/X1 and a WiiU (take it the way you want), a more attractive option for some people. Specially if Nintendo continues the partnership with 3rd parties to develop exclusives for them. |
For a moment i was going to completly disagree with the OP, but this comment kinda cleared everything up in a way that expressed my opinion and yet melded it with his in a way.
Long story short......I agree with you and you prevented me from writing a long winded paragragh or two that would probably end up making me look like an asshole.
