I don't have a Wii, nor do I know anyone with one to borrow from, so unfortunately I have not played the first.  I'm a pretty big follower of the genre so of course I've heard about it and read the reviews, but I typically stay away from news about the consoles I don't have (to avoid major disappointment when they get a great title I can't play lol) so havent seen/heard much about X until now.

Just to give you an idea of how much people like Xenoblade Chronicles, take alook at the Amazon page for the game.  Look at the price.

When I see triple-digit prices for games like Xenoblade, Metroid Prime Trilogy and Radiant Dawn, I want to grab the buyer by the shoulders and shake them.

Why. Didn't. You. Buy. It. When. It. Came. Out?

By holding off on buying these games, which they obviously want, they're costing themselves way more money, and depriving the publisher of sales, thereby imperiling future productions of games like this. It's a lose/lose.

"The worst part about these reviews is they are [subjective]--and their scores often depend on how drunk you got the media at a Street Fighter event."  — Mona Hamilton, Capcom Senior VP of Marketing
