Not sure why more aren't pointing this out, but that $100 difference in price basically boils down to the required Kinect 2.0 in every box.

But maybe Ms is breaking even or making a small profit on every unit. after all, they did nothing but take big losses on the whole xbox family, they NEED the imediate profit.

Surely they could've done that with a seperate package without the Kinect? Would've helped them achieve price parity with the PS4 as well. Of course, that would require them accepting that no one thinks Kinect is as big a deal as they want to make it, but still.
