Is there another X trailer I've missed? Well that one was WAYYYY better than the newest one lol. They should've reversed the trailer reveals, that gameplay would've made a big splash earlier today. Reminds me a lot of FFXII, and I loved that upgrade t the traditional turn-based system. I still think, on a technical level at least, FFXV will be the superior game (we'll have to wait and see how the rest of the game shapes up), but Wii U owners definitely have something to look forward to.

Have you played Xenoblade? If Monolith keeps it up, FFXV won't be the better game at all since SE has disappointed me on home consoles the entire 7th gen. SE is emphasizing on graphics way too much.

I don't have a Wii, nor do I know anyone with one to borrow from, so unfortunately I have not played the first. I'm a pretty big follower of the genre so of course I've heard about it and read the reviews, but I typically stay away from news about the consoles I don't have (to avoid major disappointment when they get a great title I can't play lol) so havent seen/heard much about X until now.
I'm a bit of a graphics whore but even with the shiny new engine I've been pretty disappointed by S-E as well. Attempted to get through FFXIII three times now and I always make it 40-50 hours in, and then lose interest. I've always had a lot of faith in Nomura though, so I'm really, really, REALLY hoping for a renaissance of some sort.
