Absolutely, now it is a part of the problem. There is a difference, at that time there was an alternative. Now there isn't. So if you want to play games you have to accept it now. Plus you are not only paying for online multiplayer, you are paying for the services as well (You probably know them). It doesn't change the fact that they are part of the problem. We, gamers, have a big problem now. Maybe you are looking at it from Microsoft's perspective, I don't know. I only see a mess.
